Then  in my garden proper,
Such lovely vegetables grow;
There's every kind I care to have,
And they're not there for show.

I'm selling some, and giving some,
Which every way I chose;
For tho they're very many,
They all are there to use.

The have grown so very quickly;
Fresh, luscious, crisp and tender;
Better far, than one could buy
From any garden vender.

And now, that I am well supplied
With everything I need;
I certainly am thankful!
I planted Burpees' seed.
