What Burpee's Seeds Have Done for Me
Burpee's seeds have taught me that seeds are not just "seeds", but I know that when I buy from Burpee I get seeds and seeds of a high germination and best quality obtainable seeds that because of careful breeding and selection will grow plants producing fruits and flowers as correct in type and in uniform size and color as modern plant breeders can establish.
I have been able to grow many delicious vegetables for family use. The vegetables which were not needed at for home use always found a ready market because of their attractive appearance.
Yet greater than these things I consider the lessons I have learned of nature. It is wonderful to watch a little seed awake from its sleep, take on life, push through its covering of earth and reach upward, gaining new parts as is grows,
