volcanic plug (Tig) one mile east of the west end of the Permian hill. On this slope the bioherm is small but we found abundant [[underlined]] Scacchinella [[/underlined]] in it. About 50' under this bioherm occurs the transition beds with a profusion of crinoid stems and other fossils Large [[underlined]] Heliospongian [[/underlined]] was found loose on the slope. We also found [[underlined]] Scacchinella [[/underlined]] fairly common in the breccia beds. Also large fusulines identified as Wolfcamp. The bioherms overly these beds. The transition beds may be Lenox Hills fm. whereas the Bioherms may really be the Decie Ranch.

In the breccia forming the base of the largest bioherms we saw boulders with [[underlined]] Scacchinella. [[/underlined]] One boulder, about 3 - 4' in one direction abounded in crinoid stems and [[underlined]] Scacchinella [[/underlined]] and is identical to the crinoid - stem - [[underlined]] Scacchinella [[/underlined]] beds seen in the next bioherm to the east mentioned above. These boulders were derived from the bioherms and are essentially contemporaneous with them
