Afternoon. Oak-woods &c. below Clara Bridge, WI. as usual. With Miss Knowles & Miss Buchanan to see Cephalanthera.

[[underlined]] Andrena fucata [[/underlined]] fresh [[female symbol]] & [[underlined]] Vespa (? austriaca) [[/underlined]] [[female symbol]] only aculeates seen.
About 12 spp. of icks. taken, mostly at sand-flat & on oak by the river.
