21st June 1929. A fine day! Late evening, 6 till 9 pm. Drove to Poulaphouca, KD & WI, where collected with Liffey survey party, but sun going in very little in my line out & most recorded below taken by Palmer or OMahony who were sweeping.

[[/insertion]] & below bridge, at 9.30 pm. by E. O'M. { Took many larvae of [[underlined]] Croesus septentrionalis [[/underlined]] on willow, birch & alder on  KD. bank: from these emerged, ca. 13.8.29, 27 [[2 male symbols]] & 1 [[female symbol]], all of which were black except 2 [[2 male symbols]]
