Glencree river, just above where it enters Powerscourt, Co. WI. (left bank).

[[underlined]] A. jacobi [[/underlined]] [[2 male symbols]] flying over gorse, 1st 1930.

3.30 till 5 pm. Marsh in floor of The Dingle, Co. DU. with A.A. Lisney.
[[underlined]] Dolerus liogaster [[/underlined]] 2 [[2 female symbols]] on rushes, just S. of wall across marsh, where AAL. took 1 [[female symbol]] on 21st April 1929. (AAL.)
[[underlined]] D. nigratus [[/underlined]] 2 [[2 male symbols]]. [[underlined]] D. aeneus [[/underlined]] 2 [[2 female symbols]].
Also saw [[underlined]] Andrena albicans [[/underlined]] [[2 male symbols]] & [[2 female symbols]], [[underlined]] A. jacobi [[/underlined]] [[2 male symbols]].
[[underlined]] A. lapponica [[/underlined]] 1 fresh [[female symbol]] on Vaccinium. [[underlined]] Nomada marshamella [[/underlined]] [[male symbol]] &  various [[underlined]] Bombi [[/underlined]] in distance.
Cuckoo seen & heard!
