Pleasant this morning -- Commenced snowing this afternoon -- ground is now nearly covered (6 Pm) but it is still snowing --

Both Collieries worked 9 hours -- Vulcan hoisted 390 cars of coal --

A telephone was placed in B Mtn store this morning -- Connections were made, and it was working all right at 1 o'clock this Pm. The "Reading" telegraph man put up the wire on 15 of their poles this morning, and we strung the rest -- Have wire on 15 Reading poles, which will cost us 25ยข per attachment, per wire, per year --

The "Inventory" is finished -- Mr Jones took it up with him on the 6.06 train (pm) He is going to New York tomorrow and will take it with him -- The [[strikethrough]] annual [[/strikethrough]] operators association meeting [[strikethrough]] of the stock holders of the Mill Creek Coal Co. will be held in New York [[/strikethrough]] will be held in New York on [[strikethrough]] Tues [[/strikethrough]] Wednesday next -- Mr Jones will be present --

Mr Kishbaugh and Mr Ingham were at Buck Mountain today -- Mr Ingham sells our coal, and was up having a look around B Mtn.  Mr Ingham of Warren Foundry & Machinery Co.
