Vulcan worked 9 hours, and did fairly well -

Our allotment has been cut from 63 to 49 cars per day for both Collieries for the days that the L.V.R.R.Co work -

Received 2-42' Boilers today from Jeanisville Iron Wks.  These are part of New Boston boilers, that we sent to have lengthened out. B-Mtn-

Both Collieries started up this morning - 

Vulcan only worked 8 hours - Breaker nearly filled up and cars all loaded 
Buck Mountain worked 9 hours - 

Mr. Powell is at home sick to day - 

Mr. Bullock called to day and bought [[strikethrough]] an [[/strikethrough]] two old letting down drums here at New Boston for $230.

Buck Mountain hoisted 372 cars of coal in 9 hours today-
