Both Collieries worked 7 hours -  Did this as the L.V.RR Co will run cars 4 days this week and we want to work tomorrow, which will be the last for the week -

Everything running smooth today -

Ordered car of hay from Lewis today for New Boston

The Collieries will not work any more this week -

Mr Jones is considering whether to put in another mine locomotive at Buck Mountain Colliery, on the 3rd Lift-  Long haul - very hard on mules - very expensive -  A locomotive would probably reduce the cost considerably -  Malis & Co offer one cheap, one about the right size for us-  Has written Mr Delano about it -
