Both Collieries idle - R.R.Co not running cars-
Carpenters at Buck Mountain are giving the coal pickets a general repairing -  Harry Lattimore's squad is putting in the heating pipes in Vulcan Breaker - Nearly all [[strikethrough]] the re [[/strikethrough]] other men have been suspended -

Condenser for Vulcan Breaker Pump has arrived
Unloaded car of Corn at Buck Mountain today

Mike & Val Meyers are not out today - Sick -

There is an abundance of sickness all over the coal regions at present -

Both Collieries worked 10 hours to day, so that we will be able to load our 3 days allotment to-day and tomorrow -
Received word this morning from Delano, that they would run cars [[strikethrough]] on [[/strikethrough]] Today, Thursday & Friday, and that would finish up for the month -

Ordered a new 6 gallon Babcock Fire Extinguisher today from Boyd & Bro. Also new parts for the 2 we have - Also 2 doz charged for the same -

Locomotive on the 3rd Lift is working very satisfactory at Buck Mountain Colliery-
2 Mules were hurt yesterday in the 4th west at Buck Mountain, driver Peter Curtis fell, and his light went out, and before he got up and got control of the team they encountered a closed door, through which the mules were bumped -
Mules are not [[strikethrough]] hury [[/strikethrough]] hurt seriously - The driver, and Anthy Cowans, who was acting as patcher for today, were suspended for one week -
