Dan Brida called to-day and made proposals for driving the 2' West D Vein Gangway through the fault at Vulcan Colly., and to drive the tunnel from the West Seven foot gangway to Skidmore -

Pleasant all day - 

We have had cool weather, so far this season - and plenty of rain - Rains every other day - The growt of vegetables etc. has been very slow - Ripe Huckle berries are very scarce - Can find one here and there, but to pick a quart would be a great job - The Laurel is almost in full bloom - Roses are just commencing to bloom, that is the kind that are part wild - In fact we are almost one month behind in the season - Evenings are cool at times uncomfortably chilly -
