Very very disagreeable day - Raining and blowing all day - Commenced early this morning - 

Both Collieries [[strikethrough]] worked [[/strikethrough]] started up this morning, and we expected a full allotment of cars at each Colliery - Vulcan received 15 1/4 and B Mtn 15 1/2 - Worked 7 hours at Vulcan and 9 hours at B Mtn. Breakers filled up with coal. Delano said they did not have the cars 

The gangway, 2' West Skidmore Ganguay, at Vulcan has been driven through the fault - Leader of dirt right through - Almost 35' of a fault - 4' of excellent coal on he other side. Contractor will now start at Tunnel 1st West seven foot to Skidmore - 

Gondola cars are very scarce - Delano has not many to distribute - Say they are being sent north - 

Foundations for Fan Draft plant and for the Compressor, are finished at B.Mtn. 

Mr. Jones is not home yet - Left for home, on Saturday morning -

Running through 8 cars (4/4) of condemned nut at Vulcan -
