Pleasant all day Rained nearly all the time last night -

Both Collieries worked 9 hours - We find that we can easily load our allotment of 75 cars per day, by working 9 hours-

Everything quiet -

L.V. programme was to run cars Monday & Tuesday, idle Wednesday, and work Thursday & Friday - Today they notified us that they would work tomorrow, [[strikethrough]] as well as [[/strikethrough]] and also on Thursday & Friday, making 5 days this week -

Wrote Blakslee to-day to have our stand tracks, above both Breakers, lengthened out, and properly graded, so that we would not have any trouble in getting the empty cars into the breaker. As it is, we are obliged to keep a team there

Vulcan Colliery worked only 5 hours - Run out of Coal -
Buck Mountain Colliery worked 9 hours -

Cars were scarce to-day. Received 37 at Vulcan and 30 at Buck Mountain -

Messrs Lentz and Reese of Park Place were here from 11 oclock to 1 P.m. Were comparing prices etc -

Fan draft at Buck Mountain is not yet running -
Are pushing the work on the Compressed Air Plant. Unloaded two Locomotives off RR truck to-day -
"Balls" Carpenters started to build porches at the back of Vulcan's houses - 

Have 12 Cars standing without orders at Vulcan 7 stove
and 5 Nut
Have 12 Cars standing without [[ditto for: orders at]] BMtn 8 Pea and 4 B.Wheat
