Pleasant all day -

Both Collieries idle - RRCo not running cars -
Men repairing here and there around the Collieries -

Everything quiet at Hazleton - All Collieries are working - All soldiers have been sent home but the Governor's Troop which shall be quartered there for an indefinite time -

Coroner's Jury rendered a verdict against the Sheriff and Deputies -, although 2 of the 6 Jurors, were in favor of exonerating them -

Here at New Boston we have men tearing out old bricks, and have teams hauling them to Vulcan and Buck Mountain - Some of the fire fronts and fixtures of the old boiler will be utilized either at Vulcan or BMtn where we are going to increase our steaming capacity - BMtn's Compressor weakens the capacity there somewhat, while at Vulcan, the Fan Draft has increased the capacity considerable, yet it is not enough -
