In 1900 I wrote to various firms for their catalogues. Among those received was one that impressed me deeply, It was modest and reasonable in its statements and I was sure that every word bore the stamp of the living truth. It got my order and has got them ever since During these twenty five years this catalogue has introduced many of the most valuable [[strikethrough]] flowers [[strikethrough]]  varieties of vegetables and flowers in existence and the name of W Atlee Burpee is loved and honored in millions of homes as one of the worlds greatest benefactors.
