Dear Sirs:-

Three years ago, by chance, I planted Burpee's Yellow Globe Danvers Onions beside Yellow Globe Danvers purchased from another company. Upon germination, I found that Burpee's had the sturdiest and heaviest stand.  Both plots received the very same cultivation, yet there was always a big difference in the two plots.  In the fall, Burpee's matured earlier and more evenly; the onions were larger and more uniform in shape and color with more than twice the yield
