[[underlined]] For Prize Contest [[/underlined]]

May 1st I thoroughly prepared the ground and commenced planting seeds and setting plants from Burpee's seeds. I hoed and cultivated each week. The seeds were 100% germination and very strong. Every thing developed quickly and in large quantities and was very uniform in size. I raised cabbage, onions, beans, cauliflower, beets, carrots, egg-plant, sweet-corn, cucumbers, tomatoes, peas, radishes, lettuce, turnips, and celery. I have been a market gardener for 20 years I have never had better success. I never used the Burpee seeds before. I will continue to use them as I have had wonderful results.
