PRIZE CONTEST FOR 1925
No.23

W. Atlee Burpee Co.
Philadelphia, Pa.

Dear Sirs:

we have grown Burpee's Seeds for twenty years. They are dependable and get results, therefore are the cheapest.

In our garden seventy-nine by one hundred feet, we grew vegetables for a family of nine, and nine rows of sweet peas.

Our sweet peas were so beautiful last year, that the children sold the extra blossoms at the Curb-Market. The people were so delighted with the wonderful colors, immense blossoms and long stems, that they could hardly believe they were grown in an open garden.

That experience gave us the idea of planting more this year, and from the nine rows we sold blossoms to the amount of One hundred fifty-nine dollars and forty-five cents ($159.45)

Many, many people asked us where we bought our seeds.

We hope to continue the growing of sweet peas for market and from the proceeds establish an educational fund for our five children.

Yours very truly,
Bickford L. Tuttle,
