PRIZE CONTEST FOR 1925 No. 1162

I am an editor and do my gardening primarily for pleasure, incidentally for profit and always I find the joy of it greatly enhanced by the genuineness of Burpee seeds. They never fail. To illustrate:--I planted two rows, 44 feet long, of Burpee's Rapid Red Radish, on April 11, 1925. On April 29, I pulled seven bunches of fine tubers and on May 6, 1925, all had been harvested. On a wager, careful examination was made and not one root was found of wrong conformation of color, and they were beautiful enough for an artists brush.
