Ten hills of the White Spine cucumbers planted
the last of June yield a gallon every other day. The Golden Bantam and Howling Mob corn are parexcellent.
The richness and sweetness of the Golden Bantam can't be equalled. My neighbors have all remarked on the excellent flavor and crispness of the Amsterdam
Carrot. My 50 Best Early cauliflower stand 20 to 36 inches high with firm white heads. A single plant of the White Bush squash had 5 large squashes, one measuring 10 inches across. Alderman peas began bearing in June and are still at it.
