Prize Letter Contest

Planting Burpee's Seeds many years had eliminated uncertainty regarding maturity true to name or variety; likewise germination of seeds. 

Considerable notriety has resulted from satisfied people saying; get your plants from Plewes and be sure. 

During the World War when Super Production was essential; - I (though just a mechanic and limited for time and space) by using Burpee's Seeds captured third prize in this city (Population sixty thousand) competing with many hobby gardeners and people of leisure

The prize money;- (the initial deposit to my credit in a local Bank) remains,- and has been considerably added to.
