[[underlined]] For Prize Contest. [[/underlined]]

Gentlemen:
I could write pages about flowers and vegetables grown in my tiny city garden from Burpees Seeds. Last year my Tulips, Petunias, and Snapdragons were especially fine. My Asparagus bed (Palmetto) has been a five years' joy. Sieva is my favorite butter bean. I grow quantities, for summer use and canning along garden fence.
I always plant some Peach tomatoes. Larger sorts [[underlined]] may [[/underlined]] fail; but the Peach seems independent of soil or season, is free from disease, deliciously flavored and bears constantly. Ripe fruits will keep for [[underlined]] weeks [[/underlined]]. I have wondered why [[underlined]] all [[/underlined]] seed houses do not list it.

Sincerely,
Mrs. J.H.B. Stephenson
