Dear Gloria Steinem;

Mary Peacock suggested I write to you about a possible monthly (or spasmodic) art feature for [[underlined]] Ms. [[/underlined]] What I'd like to do is a series of interviews with women artists who work in broadly ranging styles, live widely varied life styles, are different ages, etc. I could write articles, but I think the differences and personal points of view show up better in interview form. And I've come to enjoy it much more than the standard critical polemic.

Don't know how the magazine is coming, but if you get to the point of thinking about the art coverage specifically, I'd like to talk to you. It's about time women artists got something other than their legs (un) covered in the media (viz. Newsweek).

best,
