Wishes to know names of former owners of following named lands. Battle land, Cane plantation, [[?Mclham]] plantation, Roanoke island village, Salter place Trent river negro settlement & barrell plantation. Also desires that the names of Counties in which any abandoned lands are found, be given in the descriptions of the same.

Respectfully forwarded to Maj Genl Howard Commissioner Bureau of RF & AL. I have no use for the property herein mentioned, the stables having been torn down and the barracks already disposed of.
