Vogell [[/underlined]] Agent, who applies for transportation for [[underlined]] Easter Battle [[/underlined]] (Col.) aged 75 and one daughter aged 18 from Raleigh, N.C. to Fort Valley Ga.  States that she is dependant on the Bureau & invites attention to enclosed letter.  June 15. Fowd to [[underlined]] Gen. Howard [[/underlined]] recommended.  Jun 19. Recd. back who will please require Agent [[underlined]] Vogell [[/underlined]] to state the class to which the applicants in this case belong, and whether or not both are dependant upon the Govt. for support.  It will be noticed that it does not appear from the application whether they are loyal refugees or freed people and that the dependency of [[underlined]] Easter Battle [[/underlined]] only is stated

Bailey [[/underlined]] aged 14 years and requests that his son may be returned to him or that said parties be compelled to pay him reasonable wages for Clem's services
