II. The only species that seem to be [[underlined]] regular [[/underlined]]nuclear around here are the Orange-head and the Basileuterus XLI.

III. The associations between Diglossinis and mixed flocks here seem to be essentially similar to the corresponding associations in the northern Andes. Diglossinis join only briefly-probably only to "escort" the flocks through their territories. This may be characteristic of all Diglossinis every where (it may be apparently about near Quito simply because there are no mixed flocks there).

IV. There do not seem to be many overlaps between [[underlined]] many [[/underlined]] related species here. Viz the Diglossinis. Situation here reminiscent of southern Peru rather than Colombia or Venezuela.

NOTE: The mixed flock seen today was certainly not the same as the one seen yesterday. Areas quite far apart (at least 1/4 mile - probably more).
