The New York Shakespeare Festival must raise $10 million each year to produce plays at the Public Theatre and Free Shakespeare in Central Park. The National Endowment for the arts, the New York State Council on the Arts and the City of New York currently provide 14% of the funds needed. The Public Theater box office earns 10%; the rest must be raised annually from individuals, corporations, and foundations.

The Partners Program has been established to help support the work of the New York Shakespeare Festival. We are especially grateful to these individuals and foundations which gave $500 or more.
