114.) 10th April 1932. A cold day with gale from NW & heavy snow & hail showers, but bright sunny intervals. Drove to Drumdangan (between Glenealy & Deputys Pass) Co. WI, then on to Deputy's Pass itself, where saw a fresh [[male]] Holly Blue. Shower almost spoiled collecting & the gale made everything shy. Drumdangan, where old lane crosses railway = 1. 1 to 2pm. Deputy's Pass, N. side = 2. 2.30 till 3.30. [[underlined]] Bombus lucorum [[/underlined]] a few [[2 male symbols]] at 1 + 2. [[underlined]] B. aporum [[/underlined]] 1 [[female symbol]] at 1. [[underlined]] B. derhamellus [[/underlined]] 1 [[female symbol]] on Dandelion at 1. [[underlined]] Andrena praecox [[/underlined]] [[2 male symbols]] common at 1, sunning themselves. [[underlined]] A. gwynana [[/underlined]] 1 [[male symbol]] at 2. [[underlined]] A. lapponica [[/underlined]] 1 [[male symbol]] seen & 1 very fresh [[female symbol]] taken at 2. WI, but after a few minutes collecting a very heavy hail & sleet shower, which lasted half an hour ended collecting. Did not attempt any further collecting.
