4th May 1932. A fine day, with keen NE breeze; sun very hot when out but mid day dull & afternoon only really sunny after 3.30 pm. Drove via The Dingle to Glen of the Downs. 
The Dingle, Co. Du. 2.15 till 3.0 pm. Very little sun!

[[underlined]] Bombus lucorum [[/underlined]] only 1 [[female symbol]] seen. [[underlined]] Halictus rubicundus [[/underlined]] [[female symbol]].
[[underlined]] Dolerus [[/underlined]] oblongus ? 1 [[male symbol]] in marsh where [[underlined]] liogaster [[/underlined]] caught & a few other sawflies seen in distance.
