17th July 1932. A fine day, but very strong W. wind & some cloud: owing to wind & previous bad weather very little flying. [in Dublin & along coast, dull, with strong cold NE. wind].
Drove to Monasterevan, Q Co. & then SW, where collected a few species in lane along E. of Glenmalire Ho. (=1); then along Mountmellick road to Woodbrook House where collected in sandpit N.E. of same (=2) & in scrub close to canal bridge (=3); this place is about 2 1/2 miles S.W. of Portarlington! & near Emo Park.
