No. 72,376 to 72,421 inclusive. A part of a large collection  received from Mr Charles L. Mc Kay, Bristol Bay, Alaska. embracing implements of the chase, particularly those used in seal, walrus and beluga hunting. A very interesting monographic collection of a full outfit for a beluga hunter, with enough "extras" to supply any ordinary loss, forms an important item in this collection.
No. 72,422 to 72,463 inclusive. A collection received from John J. McLean, Sitka, Alaska, principally basket work.
No. 72,464 to 72,559 inclusive. A miscellaneous collection received from William H. Fisher. Kadiak Island, Alaska, including a large number of interesting specimens of bead work. 
No. 72560. A Wampum necklace from the N.W. coast of America, collected by the U.S. Exploring Expedition, Lieut. Charles Wilkes, U.S.A. This was re-entered because the old number of the specimen did not agree with the catalogue,
