[[underline]] B. Description and Installation of Specimens, both old and new. [[/underline]]
    The greater part of the new specimens have been carefully studied and described, and either installed or turned over to preparator to be properly mounted; and a very large number of Old Specimens, previously entered in the catalogue, have been studied and described and are now ready to be mounted: this is particular pertinent to a considerable number of savage and barbarous ornaments, including necklaces, bracelets, anklets, gorgets, etc., Which have been carefully studied and  fully identified by myself and Mr A. P Niblack.
 A fair start has been made in transferring the large collections of basket work from the Smithsonian building to the Museum, and  a plan of installation decided upon that only awaits the completion of certain frames by the carpenters to be rapidly pushed forward.
