For previous Fiscal Year the attendance was 11,334

43 special groups of schools, clubs, etc. visited the Museum. 

Inquiries by letter, telephone or in person, regarding Indian subjects were answered through the year to a total of 804. 

The Museum remains open to the public from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. on week days. 

[[underlined]] MUSEUM BUILDING [[/underlined]]

The Museum Building has been maintained in the usual manner during the year. 

[[underlined]] MUSEUM ANNEX [[/underlined]]

The grounds have been maintained in the usual manner. 

Admittance, as always, was granted to all applicants, and the attendance during the twelve months was 365. 

[[underlined]] CHANGES IN STAFF [[/underlined]]

The changes in the staff during the fiscal year are as follows: 

Mr. Edward Brooks was appointed general staff assistant on June 15, 1944.
John Brierty resigned as day watchman on July 20, 1944. 
Frank Taylor assumed duties as day watchman on August 1, 1944.
John Braun resigned as floor guard on December 31, 1944.

Due to economic conditions, no expeditions were undertaken this year.
