Since yesterday noon I have not seen old Burton, and I suppose that he has left.  The old fellow acted as though he were ashamed to come near me.  [[Van Drizer?]] was too much for him.

When you receive this, you have no doubt been several times to the Tivoli Theatre, but your visits to the Rathskeller I presume you will postpone till my return, as you would not have the courage to go alone, especially if your friend Wilckens should be about-
