the ongoing cold + unpleasant no wood to be had around the Hospital + and we had no fire so a cold + a Disagreeable Room we had of it after it was scrubbed out, which the nurses were obliged to do obey orders if the sick + wounded died from the effects of it.

The morning tolerable cool though pleasant. Nothing going on around the Hospital of interest - my wounds getting along tolerable well. Health good
