Bitter cold  plenty of wood & a good fire  The room comfortable  nothing going on around the Hospital worth speaking of  continued cold throughout the Day & evening  Health good & wounds improving

Still cold   everything going on peaceably  my wounds still improving  Health good  No very severe cases in the Hospital except two men from Sherman's Pioneer Corpse [[Corps]] who are very low & not expected to live long
