This morning cool but not as cold as for several days past - the Sun came out early which made the greater part of the Day pleasant & indeed I might say it was warm a portion of the Day all [[?]] around the tents  nothing occuring worth mentioning My health still good & my wounds improving.

This morning pleasant & fair. The 55th Regt came to Beauford- Dock from Fort Jackson Ga. the men looked well. They staid 
but- a few moments when they pushed out in the stream & started for Edisto. For the afternoon a large detail sent from the tents to the different Regiments   Ward H. cleared again for coloured sick that are expected in daily.
