[[/preprinted]] A Beautiful morning the weather pleasant in Bad Health spent the Day in Bed in the Afternoon a Boat came in from Charleston bringing quite a number of Freedmen a portion of them stopped here the remainder were carried to the Head. They reported our Regiment doing Provost Duty in Charleston SC. at Noon a salute fired at the Head in honor of the Birthday of Washington
