This morning pleasant & the day unusually fine though I did not enjoy much of it out of doors, as I was busy the fore part of the day writing in the afternoon the chaplain preached a sermon to the men in front of Ward "A", written a letter to my Father & Sergt Shorter, in the afternoon,

A fine morning & a Pleasant Day not very busy in the office today taken a walk to town after dinner & stopped at the Post Office but did not have the pleasure of getting a letter somewhat to my disappointment as expected a letter from home
