A pleasant morning & the day unusually fine. ordered to prepared to move in the morning at six am to Relieve 4 companies of the [[112"?]] doing Provost duty in the town of Orangeburg   a report in camp that the regiment was ordered to be mustered out as soon as possible

The morning clear & beautiful struck tents. Left camp cos D E I & K  to do Provost duty in the town   after getting to camp we were rather hurriedly called on to go before the examining board in the afternoon 
The detachment inspected by Capt Tracy.
