the morning fair & Beautiful afternoon it rained some though nothing worth speaking of. quite a number of the Officers went to Charleston S.C. to a pleasure trip no news worth speaking of in camp awaiting transportation to start for home

the morning pleasant though somewhat windy in the afternoon went to Charleston & spent the afternoon & evening very pleasantly in the society of several ladies.
