Raining when about 30 miles N.E. of Cape Hatteras the storm raged considerable, the lightning struck the Boat [[trust?]] doing no considerable damage & injuring no one the remainder of the day passed by very favorable nothing transpiring worthy of mention quite a number of the Officers sick during the day & evening
