The American Magazine of Arts fills in a very useful and delightful way the place it has conquered for itself among American periodicals. Thanks to its wide outlook the reader is kept informed as to the matters that really count all over the United States, and the high editorial standard adopted at the outset has made for a sound public appreciation of American art and craftsmanship. It is gratifying also to see a magazine of the kind so well printed and illustrated.
         Royal Cortissoz
Art Critic of the New York Tribune

The development of the artistic interests of the country is well reflected in the American Magazine of Art. It is thus useful to the artist, teacher, student and patron of the arts. No other art magazine gives exactly this service.
       James P. Haney
Director of Art in High Schools
   City of New York.

The American Magazine of Art is the most dignified, the broadest, and the most valuable of the art journals of the country.
      John Cotton Dana,
    Director, Newark Public Library,
                  New Jersey.
