alpha Cor. Aust. 5764 1 [[superscript]] 4 [[/superscript]]
This identified as gamma Cor. Aust. { Like zeta Tucanae. H lines strong and hazy.
H delta very wide and hazy.
alpha is type A.

[[strikethrough]] b Velorum [[/strikethrough]] C [[subscript]] 1 [[/subscript]] Scorpii 4421 1 [[superscript]] 5 [[/superscript]]

This star resembles delta Can. Maj. The H & K lines are however [[strikethrough]] iota Scorpii [[/strikethrough]] much narrower. They are about 1/2 as wide as in delta Can. Maj. The violet end may not be alike either. The H lines are much stronger and it is probably under a sharp-lined star of an earlier division.

A.G.C. 24218 on plate 4421
very poor. Under gamma Crucis most probably.

alpha Fornacis 8190 2 [[superscript]] 3 [[/superscript]]
Like beta Hydri except that H lines are slightly stronger.
Lines are not as sharp in thos two-prism plate of alpha Fornacis, nor in 7719 beta Hydri.

alpha Fornacis 7716 1 [[superscript]] 5 [[/superscript]]
This greatly resembles beta Hydri 5932.
H is slightly narrower than in beta.
H lines slightly stronger, especially H gamma than in beta.
4326.0 is weaker than in beta.
Here H gamma = 4 [[strikethrough]] 1 [[/strikethrough]] 4326.0
in beta Hydri = 2 x 4326.0
This star can not go under alpha Aurigae, while beta Hyd. may.

alpha Fornacis 4433 1 [[superscript]] 2 [[/superscript]] poor

alpha Fornacis 4508 1 [[superscript]] 2 [[/superscript]] Compared with alpha Aurigae, the differences consist mostly in the strength of the H lines and 4326.0 as above compared wirh beta Hydri.
alpha Fornacis is nearer like zeta Tucanae. Lines seem sharper in alpha Fornacis than in zeta Tuc.
