Description of [[Alpha]] Apus.
H & K nearly equal. K slightly weaker. K = 2 F, G, h
Bright streaks in violet bet. K & Alpha, [[strikethrough]] and [[/strikethrough]] one wide and one narrow one, and three fainter ones beyond Alpha.
On the earlier plates, the H lines are very broad.
On one plate H Beta, and H Gamma are distinctly double.
Solar lines abundant but not strong.

Alpha Persei 7983 3 [[superscript]] 5 [[/superscript]]
Looks nearly like Alpha Can. Min. yet the G & K bands are decidedly wider in Alpha Persei. The Hyd. lines also look hazier, ^[[solar lines]] abundant and stronger. H Delta seems narrower than H Beta and H Gamma

Theta Scorpii
7551 2 [[superscript]] 5 [[/superscript]]
Like Alpha Apus?
H & K hazier and slightly wider. Other H lines clear, not hazy in any degree. Same bright streaks at violet end.

Theta Scorpii 5311 1 [[superscript]] 4 [[/superscript]]
Lines sharp.
Solar lines numerous but weak. K = H = 3 F, G & h

Alpha Circini 4185 1 [[superscript]] ? [[/superscript]]
K = 0.9 H = 2, F, G, & h
Line, near H Delta (Zeta Cap. line) is strong. Two lines stand out between H Gamma & H Delta
