Spectrum poor, on edge of plate. 7834 2 [[superscript]] 4 [[/superscript]] pi Sag. K = H = 3F, G & h lines are sharp. The slightest indication of the g band is seen. omicron Sag. also on plate at top and spectrum is faint. alpha Hydri 8017 2 [[superscript]] 4 [[/superscript]] K = 1.1 H. Hyd. lines especially towards violet are hazy and solar lines look almost double. Is it focus? There seems to be a sort of banding extending over most of the spectrum. A similar effect was observed in alpha Circini 6400.
