alpha Bootis
[[??symbol]] Centauri 5599 1 [[superscript]] 4 [[/superscript]] A.G.C 18376.

Slightly peculiar
[[??symbol]] Centauri also appears on plate 3977, having only portion of spectrum bet. H & K and a little degrad visible. It is marked peculiar and then crossed off withthe remark that it is due to the plate not covering the region.

Plate 5599 has lambda 4227 weaker than in alpha Bootis.

H gamma approximately equal to 4326.0

H beta and H delta slightly stronger than in alpha Bootis. In the red end of the spectrum, there is a tendency to break in light [[strikethrough]] like alpha Foran. [[/strikethrough]] One breakhas shortest lambda at H beta, the other shortest lambda at 0.43 mm from the F towards the red end. These breaks do not seem to coincide exactly with those in alpha Tauri and are not like 3rd star class. On superposing this plate on delta Sag. 5807, the breaks do not seem any different from those on abanded K star. The only peculiarity about this red end is that it is seen well beyond H beta [[strikethrough]] and [[/strikethrough]] where the whole spectrum is not very intense.

Intermediate or app. alpha Tauri.

The spectra are poor, but they show a dark streak [[strikethrough]] s [[/strikethrogh]] at red end and coincident with one in a third-type star. G band not seen broken up.

Probably like alpha Bootis.
