Examination of AC 5343 superposed on position from(?) AM 1918

1. On negative, not on positive

9. This star fainter on neg. or the star above a little brighter
  Probably due to being on extreme edge of plate.
  No variations seen on AC 6521 AM 3749, AM 3889,
  while these stars are at centre of plate.

positive. Image on negative is of different shape,
      Faint on AM 2573.  Probably variable. 
Marked on AM 1354. Look [[strikethrough]] ed? [[/strikethrough]] on some plates at 18^[h]+15^[sym:"degrees"]

-Original text indicates trend of latent attachment logo-accessories (dots to "i"; crosses to "t"). -The transcriber has inferred, from the multiple figures of the same type, the intended transmission of the more ambiguous presentations of the words "Brighter" (e.g. under articles (sic)"5.";"8.";"9.") , and "Fainter" -The margin note (sic)"Ry Herculis" is understood to be [RY Herculis], an obsolete nomen used exclusively by Harvard College (up until ????) to indicate the current class of carbon star now known as [CR-Herculis], discover by Anderson in 1899 (source: "Annals of the Astronomical Observatory of Harvard College, Vol. 56")(CC) -It is interesting to note the author's use of the "R" classification - the "R" class was not officially announced to the public until 1912 by department chair A. Pickering.
