17. Certainly brighter on positive.
No variation on AC 4986, 5227, 1730, 4923, 6876. 1436.
Original negative AM 1918 is probably defective. Examined by M.P.A. who thinks the increased brightness is due to a defect over the star.

    Appears to be possibly slightly variable, but too near edge to be sure. On AM 3749, 3889, where the star comes nearer centre, no change seen!
