37 Madison Ave.
New York

Dear Madam,-

As I am going out of town to return to the city Friday morning, pray let me know whether I could see this collection on Friday between 10 and 12.

I notice that you say that this gentleman [[underline]] stipulates [[/underline]] that no one but Mr. Jacques Seligmann should come, and I am afraid that those requirements are hard to comply with, as Mr. Jacques Saligmann is in Paris, and it must therefore be either myself, his eldest son, or Mr. Glaenzer, our partner, who comes.

As both Mr. Glaenzer and myself are sailing next week for Europe, it would greatly oblige me if you would let me know whether our visit will be expected as suggested, as our time is very limited for the number of things that we have still to do before sailing.

Yours very truly,
